“The Energy of Education” – to best technical universities
“Case-in” International Engineering Championship will start in Irkutsk on March 1, 2016. 37 leading technical universities from more than 30 regions of Russia as well as from Kazakhstan and Mongolia will compete in it for the “Energy of Education” award.
The “Energy of Education” is a special nomination of the “Case-in” championship tailored for higher educational institutions. It was established in 2013 by the “Global Energy”, Non-profit partnership and “The Youth Forum of Mining Leaders”, Non-profit partnership. The award acknowledges annually best universities for the organization and holding of the qualifying stage of the competition and encourages educational institutions to immense deeply in the championship.
As a recall, the “Case-in” International Engineering Championship is held for the fourth consecutive year. It consists of 77 qualifying stages, which will be organized in the form of conferences at leading specialized universities - participants of the project.
“Case in” is the only All-Russian case championship in the energy and mineral resources sectors. During this practice-oriented education project, teams of undergraduate and graduate students will offer engineering solutions for case studies developed through materials of the leading companies of the industry in 5 directions (leagues): electrical power, mining, exploration, oil and gas engineering and metallurgy. The championship Final will traditionally be held in Moscow on 30 ─ 31 May 2016.
The “Energy of Words” award will be traditionally presented by the “Global Energy”, Non-profit partnership’s President Igor Lobovsky. Addressing the 2015 finalists, he noted: “On behalf of the organizers of the project I would like to thank the management and employees of universities responsible for organizing stages of competition. All participating universities gave a great support to the championship. You have done a tremendous work - attracted students, invited leading experts, as well as prepared the infrastructure in universities. Comprehensive assistance in organization of this event secured its high level of operation.”
