Today the “Global Energy”, Non-profit Partnership’s President Igor Lobovsky has presented the “Energy of Education” Award to the best High Educational Institutions of Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia for the organization of qualifying stages of «Case-In» International Engineering Championship.
The 2014 Global Energy Prize laureate Lars Gunnar Larsson gave presentation within the VIII International Forum “Atomexpo 2016”. During the plenary session “Nuclear energy as the basis of a low-carbon energy balance”, he presented his vision on the subject.

The results of the competition were announced in Moscow, the piece “Gulf Castles of Sand” was considered the best submitted article by 20 leading energy experts who form The Global Energy Prize International Award Committee.
According to the 2016 Global Energy Prize laureate, scientific director of the SB RAS Institute of Catalysis, Academician Valentin Parmon, Russia can start production of organic fuels for aviation (jet fuels) that will be in great demand in the nearest future in just two to three years provided there is a political decision for that.
The Global Energy Prize laureate B. Jayant Baliga has been inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. He will be welcomed during the 44 Annual Induction Ceremony on May 5, 2016. This year he has been recognized as one of 16 inventors whose life-changing achievements have benefited humanity through their groundbreaking work.
